Letters From Our Readers

LETTERS - unknownIt may come as a shock but these are real letters from real people. Sacred Name people.

MAIL DISCLAIMER

PLEASE READ THIS NOTE IF YOU INTEND TO CONTACT US

  1. When you mail us or email us, the letter and the information contained in it become the property of Sacred Name Movement Errors Web Site and Gary Mink.
  2. The email you send could be published either whole or in part on the Letters Page of this web site. Your letters could be published elsewhere.
  3. Most of the letters published here have been edited for spelling. In some cases the return email address has been left off.

We get mail.  Both email and the U.S. Postal Service kind. We still try to answer every letter. We discuss issues with people who want to have a discussion. We also get phone calls. Thanks for the input. We value every letter, every call.

One of our web site goals is to elicit discussion of Sacred Name Movement errors. Almost every day our mail indicates we are succeeding in this area.

Our mail further shows that a few people are being convinced by one means or another to come out and/or to stay out of the Sacred Name Movement. For any small part we may have had in this, we are thankful. The Sacred Name Movement is just another wing of religious Babylon. God's people are still heeding his directive to, " Come out of her my people."

We get letters from folks who encourage us to continue this work. We get letters from people who need us to supply them with more focused information. Some need their personal situation addressed. They need help.

I recently came across "The Scriptures"  By the Institute for Scripture Research.  Have you done a review of this Bible?  Does it qualify as a sacred name bible?

Subject: The Heavenly FAther's Name - Please Respond

<>Dear Sir;
If the entire Old Testament was written in Hebrew Tetragrammaton form without vowel points, why is the Father's name the only name we seemingly cannot pronounce?  There are several gods that are mentioned by name in the bible, Baal, Molech, Chemosh etc.  all written in Hebrew tegrammaton form, no one seems to dispute the pronunciation of these names, but when the powers that be sees YHWH in Tetragrammaton form it is quickly substituted with titles. Hmmm!

Dear Confused;

I just read your list of errors and profoundly disagree. I hope the Father above will forgive you in the end.

I have been what you call a Sacred Name believer for a good many years and never have I encountered the group I worship with claim any of the errors you list on your home page.

Error #1. Do you not think that no one on the face of the earth can read and speak Hebrew. Therefore coming up with the true pronunciation of Yahweh's Name. Maybe you need to visit some top Universitys and talk to some theology professors.

This is total nonsense.

Dear Mr. Mink,
 Yahweh be praised ! I was wondering if you might be able to tell me where I can find a copy of the holy name bible? I have been searching for one for a couple of years and the only one I have seen belongs to my brother. Thank you for your time And may our father in heaven bless you.
